By accessing and using ChessFan ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
ChessFan is a mobile application that provides chess board recognition, puzzle practice, and coaching features. The App uses on-device machine learning to detect chess positions from PDF books and generate FEN notation.
You may use the App anonymously or create an account using Google, Apple, or email authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Free Tier: Limited to 50 board recognitions and local practice features.
Basic Tier: Unlimited board recognition, cloud practice storage, and FEN cache contribution.
Coach Tier: All Basic features plus coach dashboard, student management, and practice review capabilities.
All paid subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

The App, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Aifetel and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. PDF files and chess positions you process remain your property.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
In no event shall Aifetel be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.
All subscription purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refund requests must be made through the respective platform's refund policy. We do not directly process refunds.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Aifetel operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
